PENGARUH KEBIASAAN SARAPAN PAGI TERHADAP TINGKAT KONSENTRASI REMAJA DI SMKF AVICENNA CILEUNGSI
Abstract
Kebiasaan sarapan merupakan kegiatan makan dan minum yang dilakukan antara bangun pagi sampai jam 09.00 untuk memenuhi sebagian kebutuhan gizi harian (15-30% kebutuhan gizi) dalam rangka mewujudkan hidup sehat, aktif, dan produktif. Dampak tidak melakukan sarapan yaitu badan gemetar, cepat lelah dan gairah belajar menurun Konsentasi merupakan kemampuan untuk memusatkan pikiran secara penuh pada persoalan yang sedang dihadapi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan sarapan pagi terhadap tingkat konsentrasi remaja di SMKF Avicenna Cileungsi. Metode penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi adalah 292 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan tehnik simple random sebanyak 169 responden. Instrument penelitian menggunakan food record 7x24 jam dan test DSST. Analisis yang digunakan univariat dan bivariate menggunakan Uji-T independen sample dengan . Hasil penelitian diketahui 83 siswa (49,11%) terbiasa sarapan dan 86 siswa (50,89%) tidak terbiasa sarapan pagi. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji-t independen test didapatkan nilai signifikan p = 0,000 (P = 0,000 < 0,05) yang artinya P value kurang dari 0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh kebiasaan sarapan pagi terhadap tingkat konsentrasi remaja di SMKF Avicenna Cileungsi. Simpulan adanya pengaruh kebiasaan sarapan pagi terhadap tingkat konsentrasi. Saran dapat dilakukan pemberian edukasi pentingnya sarapan melalui pendidikan kesehatan yang dilakukan minimal 1 tahun sekali dengan mendatangkan tenaga kesehatan.
Breakfast habits are eating and drinking activities carried out between getting up in the morning until 09.00 to meet some of the daily nutritional needs (15-30% nutritional needs) in order to realize a healthy, active, and productive life. The study aims to determine the effect of breakfast habits on the level of concentration of adolescents in the Avicenna Cileungsi Vocational School. Research method use Comparative descriptive with cross sectional approach. The total population is 292 students. Samples were taken with a simple random technique of 169 respondents. The research instrument uses a 24/7 food record and DSST test. The analysis used univariate and bivariate using independent sample T-Test with ∝ = 5%. The results showed that 83 students (49.11%) were accustomed to breakfast and 86 students (50.89%) were not accustomed to having breakfast. The results of the study using the independent t-test obtained a significant value of p = 0,000 (P = 0,000 <0.05) which means that the P value is less than 0.05 then there is an influence of breakfast habits on the level of concentration of adolescents in Avicenna Cileungsi Vocational School. The conclusion is the influence of breakfast habits on the level of concentration. Suggestions can be given to educate the importance of breakfast through health education which is done at least once a year by bringing in health workers.
